Purpose
The Update Request feature in CATS Mobile allows users to update a customer's details in the system. This guide provides instructions on how to submit an Update Request and the subsequent approval process.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Select the Customer
- Open the Contact List and choose the customer whose details need updating.
- Access the Update Request Form
- Tap the Update Request icon to open the form.
- Make Updates
- Edit any necessary details in the form fields. Ensure accuracy when updating customer information.
- Save the Form
- Tap the Save button to retain the changes entered on the form.
- Submit the Request
- Tap the Submit button to finalize and send the Update Request. Note: The update will not take effect until the request is submitted and approved.
Approval Process
- Review: The submitted Update Request is sent to the designated approver.
- Notification: Once the review is complete, CATS Mobile will notify the requester via system message about the approval or denial of the request.
Important Notes
- Pending Requests: Track the status of your Update Request using the system’s monitoring features.
- Denied Updates: If denied, the requested updates will not be applied, and further clarification may be needed.
- Accuracy Matters: Double-check all entered data to avoid re-submission.
