Purpose
The Weekly Summary tool in CATS Mobile allows users to document work-related activities, including calls, events, additional tasks, and time off. This summary is essential for accurate reporting at individual, district, regional, and national levels.
Step-by-Step Guide
Accessing the Weekly Summary
- From the Home Screen Carousel, locate and tap the Weekly Summary icon.
- A list of due weekly summaries will display.
Reviewing and Editing the Summary
- Tap on any listed summary to open it.
- The system automatically tallies totals for the week based on previously entered calls.
Adding Additional Activities
- If additional activities need to be recorded:
- Tap in the appropriate Activity field.
- Select an option from the drop-down menu.
- Input a Full Day (1) or Half Day (0.5) as required:
- Full Day: Entire workday spent on the selected activity.
- Half Day: Half the workday spent on the selected activity.
Adding Comments
- To add a comment:
- Select a specific day in the summary.
- Enter the note in the Comments field at the bottom of the screen.
Saving and Submitting the Summary
- Save Changes:
- Tap Save to store changes without submitting. This allows ongoing updates throughout the week.
- Submit the Summary:
- Once all activities and comments are finalized, tap Submit to finalize the report.
- Once you submit the current weekly summary, you will be returned to the Weekly Summary
screen.
Note: That the Status of the weekly summary has now been updated to Submitted.
Important Notes
- Deadline: Submit the Weekly Summary by End of Day (EOD) every Friday.
- Impact: Failing to complete the Weekly Summary may affect event statistics at multiple organizational levels.
- Manual Entry: While calls are automatically included, any additional activities must be entered manually.
