C.A.T.S. Console MSL/HO/DM View Overview
The Customer Analysis and Targeting System (C.A.T.S.) is a powerful, user-friendly Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software designed to help Sales Representatives efficiently manage their territories, interactions with Health Care Practitioners (HCPs), and daily workflows.
C.A.T.S. Console serves as an administrative and review suite, enabling users to access and analyze data entered by Sales Representatives via the C.A.T.S. Mobile application. This comprehensive tool simplifies customer management and provides a range of intuitive features that streamline processes and ensure seamless operation.
Contact Manager Tool
The Contact Manager module in the C.A.T.S. Console is designed for efficient management of contacts, including individual contacts, institution contacts, and an overall contact list. It is divided into four tabs, each serving a distinct function:
- Contacts Tab
- Institution Contacts Tab
- Contact List Tab
- Inactive Contacts Tab
In the Contact Manager, you have the ability to:
- Add contacts
- Edit contacts
- Log activities for contacts
Using Contact Filters
To effectively locate and manage contacts, the Contact Manager includes a powerful filtering system. You can apply filters based on the type of contact you need to find, whether they are individual contacts or institution contacts.
Filtering Contacts
- Filters are available on both the Contacts and Institutions tabs.
- On the left side of the screen, you will find filter options such as:
- City, State, Territory, Levels, and Specialty
Custom Filters
- For MSL users, there are two custom filters to narrow your search:
- KME Tier (1, 2, or 3)
- Priority KME (Yes or No)
Institution-Specific Filters
- On the Institutions Tab, you can filter by:
- Status (Active or Inactive)
- Address Type (Primary, Satellite, etc.)
- Key Medical Institution (Yes or No)
Applying Filters
- Select your desired combination of filters.
- Click the Apply button to display the filtered list of contacts or institutions.
The filtering and searching process remains consistent across both the Contacts and Institutions tabs, allowing you to locate and manage your contact data with ease.
Send a Message Tool Guide
The Send a Message tool in the C.A.T.S. Console allows HO and DM users to send messages directly to any customer listed in the Contacts tab.
Steps to Send a Message

Navigate to the Contacts Tab:
- Open the Contacts tab in the C.A.T.S. Console.

Select a Contact:
- From the contact list, choose the desired recipient.

Click the Send Message Icon:
- Click the Send Message icon to open a pop-up window for composing the message.

Compose the Message:
- Fill in the required fields, including:
- Subject: Enter a clear and concise subject line.
- Message Content: Write the message details in the provided text box.
- Start Date and End Date (if applicable): Specify the timeframe for the message to remain visible in the CRM.
- High Priority: Enable this option to mark the message as urgent, making it appear as a pop-up in the CRM with a priority indicator.

Send the Message:
- Once the message is composed, click the Send Message button to deliver it to the selected contact.
