Purpose
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for marking an address as primary (preferred) in Veeva CRM, ensuring that the preferred address is accurately updated in the system.
Marking an Address as Primary (Preferred)

Access Veeva Online
- In Veeva CRM, tap "Go Online" on the Navigation Bar.
- In Veeva CRM, tap "Go Online" on the Navigation Bar.

Search for the Account
- Search for the account in the Sidebar in Veeva Online and tap "Go!"
- Search for the account in the Sidebar in Veeva Online and tap "Go!"
- if the HCP is not currently aligned to your Veeva
- Select the HCP from the Results List
- Click on Add to Territory

Navigate to Addresses
- In the profile, tap the "Addresses" related list link.

For a New Primary Address
- Tap the "New" button.
- Enter the required address information.
- Tap the "Primary" box.
- Specify DCR Notes.
- Tap "Save."
- Tap the "New" button.

For an Existing Address
- Tap the address in the "Address Line 1" field.
- Tap the "Edit" button.
- Tap the "Primary" field.
- Tap "Save."

Synchronize Veeva CRM
- In Veeva CRM, synchronize to update the primary address.
- If the primary address change is from one address to another in the same territory, the update will be made in Veeva within 24 hours.
- If the primary address is not in your territory, the change will be sent to the impacted RSMs for approval. Once approved, the change will be processed within 24 hours in Veeva.
- In Veeva CRM, synchronize to update the primary address.
